A British woman, now known as the "Naked eBay Girl," was apparently so eager to auction off her yellow dress that she failed to notice her naked reflection lurking in the background of the posting's photograph.

Aimi Jones, 21, is seen taking the photograph of the dress while she is standing in front of a mirror wearing nothing but a bra.

"It's so embarrassing. It is such a dizzy, stupid thing to do and now the whole world's seen me in the nude," Jones said, according to the Daily Mail. "I put it on eBay last Saturday morning and realized straight away so ended the sale."

But what she also didn't realize is that people could still see the posting.

The humiliated seller removed the picture from eBay but the story of the infamous blooper has already circumnavigated the social media world---the scandalous picture too.

"I reported it to eBay and they took it down, but by then it had gone viral. My boyfriend Andy thinks the whole thing is hilarious," Jones said, according to the Daily Mail.

Jones is now selling the dress again---sans naked pictures of course.

But things seem to be looking up for Jones, known under the eBay username "sugartit_2," because there is a silver lining in this black cloud of a mistake.

Maybe the eBay slip-up was a blessing in disguise for Jones, who has a 96.3 percent positive feedback report on the auctioning site.

Bidding on the size-10 dress, under the posting "Asos Yellow Skater Dress," jumped astronomically from a starting price of about $20 and current bidding now exceeds $160,000 from 11 bidders and 31 bids.

Online users are now responding by posting parodies of the photograph around the Twitter under the hash tag #ebayyellowskaterdress, showing themselves naked in a reflection. People are also mocking the occurrence by using the photographs to construct fake eBay postings.

Bidding on the infamous yellow dress closes this afternoon.
