There is a lesson to be learned from a recent Sharon Osbourne mishap--don't fall asleep with candles lit.

Osbourne apparently did not learn from Heather Graham whose New York City apartment succumbed to the fiery powers of candles this week.

DJ Skrillex also joined the list of celebrity fire victims after his hair was engulfed by flames from his birthday cake candles earlier in the week---but at least he was trying to extinguish them.

Osbourne explained her unfortunate blip on Thursday morning show "The Talk" and said that she forgot to extinguish a candle she received as a gift from "America's Got Talent" co-judge Howard Stern before falling asleep for the night.

"Please please check your candles before you go to bed," Osbourne said on the show. "It can happen to you."

The Beverly Hills Fire Department responded to the fire around 4:45 a.m. Thursday morning and no significant damage was left in the ruthless candle's wake.

"Please everybody always check all the candles lit in the house before going to bed," Osbourne said to TMZ. "I didn't, and at 5 a.m. this morning I was met with five gorgeous men from the Beverly Hills Fire Departments as they put out the fire in my house."

At least Osbourne had something nice to look at while her home was ablaze.

But it wasn't just the sexy firefighters who came to the rescue. Osbourne said that her husband Ozzy, who had hand surgery the day before, attempted to dampen the flames with his cast.

And that's not all.

Ozzy's face was scorched from an eruption that occurred after Sharon threw water on the oily fire---a scene she described as being like "The Three Stooges."

No one else was injured in the fire.
