Fans awaiting the release of the downloadable content for Playstation All-Stars will not have to wait much longer. Sony has announced that the two new DLC characters will be available on February 12 in North America and will then be released the next day in the UK.
According to Push Square, the cost for the new characters will be approximately $3 a piece. The official site for the game has already put up individual profiles for the two new fighters with all their move-sets, history, and Super attacks.
Kat, from the game "Gravity Rush," is described as "Unsure of where she comes from or how she got her fantastic ability to control gravity, Kat embarks on a quest to save the people of Hekseville from the invading Navi. Accompanied by her feline companion, Dusty, she aids those in need while searching for answers to her mysterious origins, all the while gaining confidence in her powers."
Kat is a fast character that seems to have a strong aerial fighting style. Her level one Super is "Gravity Crush." During the move she rushes forward and stuns a nearby opponent that she makes contact with. The opponent then explodes and kills any nearby characters as well. The second super is "Gravity Typhoon." Kat goes into the sky and summons stalactites that home in and kill other foes. The final super is known as "Gravity Panther" and Kat combines with Dusty to become one massive beast. The beast can slash enemies or spin in place to create a vortex that kills nearby enemies.
Emmett is from the game "Starhawk." His description says "UExposed to the invaluable but dangerous Rift Energy during an attack by the Outcasts, Emmett protects mining operations from the same marauders, helping them meet their Rift quotas. Outfitted with a special regulator which keeps him from completing his transformation into an Outcast, he's become a gun for hire, utilizing a variety of weaponry and support structures to out-maneuver and defeat his enemies."
He is a strong character that has a great deal of long-range weapons. His first super generates one of three weapons. He can either fire a rifle, a shot gun, or a rocket launcher. With his second super he summons a massive object that drops from the sky and kills anything it lands on. The object will also unleash a lethal shockwave. His final Super is called "The Hawk."He leaps inside his machine and then fires away at the enemies.
The game was released on Nov. 20 for the Playstation 3.
