It's bad enough that New Yorkers recently died after being pushed onto NYC subway train tracks over the last few months. However, the most recent subway death proves to be just as unnerving, but way more bizarre. Brace yourself because this news story is weird and graphic.
On Tuesday, the NY Police Department's chief spokesman confirmed that a man fell to his death while defecating in between two connecting subway train cars. This occurred a little after 4 p.m afternoon while the 6 train was in motion at the East 125Th station in Manhattan. It's actually illegal and pretty dangerous to walk to another train car while the train is moving, but what is one suppose to do when nature calls?
Oddly enough, at the same station around the same time, another puzzling incident occurred. Shortly prior, a brutally bloodied man pulled himself up from the train tracks onto the platform. Police say man, identified as Manuce Dulcioh, suffered from a broken pelvis and severe injuries to the buttocks. Police sources also say that he was "very intoxicated."
The NYPD originally linked the two cases together, but later affirmed that there is no correlation between both incidents.
The NYC transit is a strange place where anything can happen. City dwellers beware.
