They're back.

Nearly eight years after they split up in 2005, the legendary trio of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have announced they are releasing a new song, "Nuclear", that will debut in stores this month. The song will be part of a compilation of songs on their newly released album, "Destiny's Child -- Love Songs," which will appear in stores Jan. 29.

Beyonce, who has sold more than 75 million records worldwide, announced the availability of the album today on her website. "I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny's Child music in eight years!" Beyonce wrote.

Rowland also confirmed the news on her Twitter account. "Hi guys! I'm happy to announce new music from Destiny's Child in eight years!" she tweeted.

The group, Destiny's Child, took the early 2000s by storm with such hits as "Survivor," "Independent Women," "Say My Name" and "Bills, Bills, Bills," just to name a few. Selling more than 50 million albums in the U.S., the trio became one of the best selling women's groups of all time.

The news coincides with the same day that music/acting superstar Justin Timberlake announced that he would be involved in a new music project, the first since his last album in 2006.

On Twitter, where Destiny's Child was trending, fans of the best-selling girl group welcomed the news with excitement.

Singer Katy B tweeted, "Just heard Justin Timberlake is bringing out a new album and Destiny's child has a new single!!!! Merry Xmas!!!!"

"Destiny's Child is making a comeback --- ooo yeah!!!" tweeted user Karmaloop. "Destiny's Child is releasing a new album! A dream come true. I've always envisioned myself as one of 3 sassy black women in a singing group." tweeted Fortune Feimster.

Gretchen Rossi was also excited, tweeting, "Destiny's Child is making a comeback!? Can't wait to hear their new song."
