Justin Timberlake is (quoting one of his songs) "Bringing Sexy Back." The singer has announced that he will be revealing new songs soon for an upcoming album.

Rumors had been flying about it last fall, but a representative for the singer stated that there would be no music for Timberlake anytime soon.

Today however, Timberlake made sure everyone knew that he is ready to get back in the music industry via Twitter and his website. He tweeted at 1:01 p.m. EST: "To whom it may concern... I think I'M READY."

His website was even more specific and Timberlake posted a countdown and stated that "Your wait will be over Sunday..."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Timberlake is working with longtime collaborator Timbaland and the upcoming album will feature about 20 new songs. The last time Timberlake recorded an album was back in 2006; that effort was FutureSex/ LoveSounds.

In recent years, the former NSync star has focused his energies on the movie industry and technology industry. He was last seen in "Trouble with the Curve" alongside Amy Adams and Clint Eastwood and is slated for a big 2013 as he will star in the Coen Brothers' upcoming film "Inside Llewyn Davis." He is also working on the films "Runner, Runner" and "The Last Drop."

Timberlake posted a new video to get fans excited. Watch it below:
