It was a big week in NBA action that saw big time plays all around the league.
Although the Lakers lost to the Clippers 107-102 at the Staples Center last night, Kobe Bryant showed that he still is a prime player as he finished the night with 38 points, including 16 in the final quarter. Despite the remarkable performance by Bryant, the Lakers continue the struggles in achieving a better record in the Conference Standings. The Clippers on the other hand are place 2nd in the Western Conference and 2nd overall in the league behind Kevin Durant's Thunder.
Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets on the other hand continue to dazzle the audience with their dynamic play and athletic skills leaving fans wowed and foes stunned.
Although the Rockets flew over the Bucks 115-101 on Friday for their third straight win, Houston's hustle to victory was not achieved without literally spilling some blood.
With 1:26 minutes into the third quarter, Jeremy Lin collided with Larry Sanders as they both raced to the ball at mid-court. The momentary but apparently agonizing collision left the Rockets' PG's head visibly bloodied.
Lin would return in the fourth quarter and spark a much needed 14 point drive for the Rockets - via six points and three assists for eight additional points.
Lin ended the game with eight points, seven assists and four steals as the Rockets averaged 54.2 percent from the field while James Harden's 29 points - shooting 11-18 - was one of the major factors of Houston clinching the win.
Other top plays come from JR Smith who continuously shows why he's a strong candidate for the NBA's 'Sixth Man of the Year' award and Blake Griffin who continues to live up to the hype with another of his famous dunks in the big game for the LA Clippers.
