Fans of E.L. James' breakout erotic thriller series '50 Shades of Grey' may have yet another actress to add to their list of Anastasia Steele contenders for the upcoming film adaptation. 'Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23" actress Krysten Ritter told fans she would be interested in the role after a series of rumors linked her as a possible casting option.

On Wednesday, Ritter tweeted, "Thanks! I would be down," along with a winky face in response to a fan's show of support for her casting.

While the raven-haired beauty may be down for the kinky role, she'll have to face some tough competition. 'Gilmore Girls' actress Alexis Bledel has been a constant fan favorite, topping fan poll after fan poll.

In the latest Latinos Post fan poll, however, actress Emilia Clarke ('Game of Thrones') bested Bledel by grabbing 32.28 percent of the votes. Bledel followed closely behind with 23.75 percent of the votes. Former fan favorite Nina Dobrev ('Vampire Diaries') fell sharply, coming in last place among the six actresses listed.

However, it might be some time before anyone finds out who will be chosen for the roles of Anastasia Steele and her millionaire love interest Christian Grey. Author E.L. James has told reporters that no casting decisions will be made until a director is chosen and the film's script is written. Universal Pictures and Focus Films, which purchased the rights to the film earlier last year, have signed on producers Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti and screenwriter Kelly Marcel for the project.

The first film in the series, '50 Shades of Grey,' does not have a set release date as of January 2013.
