Rozetked, a Russian tech site, has crafted a rendering of the Samsung Galaxy S4 in a video which shows off a new projected keyboard functionality along with a thin design aesthetic. Keep in mind that the video is in no way endorsed by Samsung, nor is it based on official specs, it is merely a depiction of one possible concept for the Korea-based company's next-generation flagship smartphone.
The Galaxy S4 will likely launch in early 2013 and feature a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution, 2GB RAM, and run Android 5.0 (Key Lime Pie). A 13-megapixel front camera and 8-megapixel rear camera will adorn the device as well, if rumors are to be believed. Rozetked's sources identify the phone's codename as i9500. The site notes that the laser keyboard is displayed by the docking station shown off in the hands-on video.
Now that Apple has shifted to a biannual iPhone release schedule, expect to see the release of the iPhone 5S around the same window as the Galaxy S4. Details are sparse on the 5S, but leaks are sure to spring up in the weeks and months to come.
