Fans have seen the last of singer Jenni Rivera.

Following the public memorial, dubbed as the "Celestial Graduation," the Rivera family will hold a private funeral service before saying their final goodbyes.

Rivera died along with six others on the morning of Dec. 9 in a flight as the departing from Monterrey, Mexico at 3:30 a.m. on her way to Toluca de Lerdo, west of Mexico City.

The plane was reported missing about 10 minutes after liftoff.

According to the Mexico's Secretary of Communications and Transportation Gerardo Ruiz Esparza, she died in the Learjet 25 falling more than 28,000 feet at speeds reaching approximately 620 miles per hour. Latest reports add that flight's fall took place within 30 seconds.

The Celestial Graduation took place on Wednesday from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, where family and friends sang and gave speeches about the singer known as "La Diva de La Banda."

The public memorial service, which was sold out within an hour the day prior, featured emotional speeches from Rivera's sons and daughters.

Johnny Rivera, the singer's youngest son at 11 years old, stated, "Mama, I've been crying so much these last few days. I miss you so much," said the little boy, wearing a red bow tie like many of his family members. "I hope you're taking care of my dad and I hope he's taking care of you, too."

Rivera's mother commented on how the "Diva" thought her mother was always tough on her. She thanked the fans, notably those on Twitter who has kept Rivera's message alive, giving her the strength to move on with the passing of her daughter.

Perhaps one of the strongest moments was Rivera's brother, Lupillo Rivera, singing at the end of the memorial service. Lupillo fought through the tears and loss to sing to his sister.

The service featured Rivera's music, which Billboard confirmed on Tuesday that her album sales increased by 1,014 percent and topped the top three positions of the Latin Albums chart.

The album "La Misma Gran Senora" debuted at number one with 27,000 sales, the best numbers for any Latin album for 2012. The number two and three positions of the Latin Albums chart was Rivera's "Joyas Prestadas: Pop" and "Joyas Prestadas: Banda," selling 14,000 (up 532%) and 13,000 (up 578%), respectively.

According to Fox News, Rivera has asked not to be cremated, however, Mexican newspaper Reforma reported her remains will be cremated when funeral services take place at the Guadalupe Premier Funeral Home in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

According to Reforma last week, the funeral home, not Rivera's family, requested a red colored urn, baring a similar color as the coffin seen at the memorial.

The plane company is currently under investigation, notably executive Ed Nunez by the US Drug Enforcement Administration, claiming ties to a Tijuana cartel. Click here for more information on the plane company, Nunez, and previous troubles.
