Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes reportedly recorded a new duet together. Fans can hear the ex-couple sing together again in January 2016.

JustJaredJr revealed that Grande and Sykes used to date in 2013. They were only together for four months.

Recently, the two announced that they recorded a duet version of Sykes’ song, “Over and Over Again.”

“#OverAndOverAgain Jan 15,” Grande posted with the video preview on her Twitter account. She also tweeted lyrics of the song, which made fans realize that she was working with her ex again.

“I have some news ... There's another version of #OverAndOverAgain with a very special feature,” Sykes posted on Twitter.

“So you know I said January was going to be an interesting month ...” Sykes tweeted.

Digital Spy wrote that “Over and Over Again” initially released as a solo. It is Sykes’ newest single, which peaked at No. 8 in the UK charts. Ariana’s vocals will be introduced for the duet version, which will launch on Jan. 15, 2016.

In April 2015, Sykes told MTV about the song and described it as a nice love ballad. He said that since most songs focused on near-relationships and breakups, it would be ideal to wrote a sweet love song.

“It made me feel a bit nauseas reading the lyrics, I was in a sappy mood,” he shared when he wrote the song in Los Angeles.

MTV cited that the Grande and Sykes also collaborated on the song “Almost Is Never Enough” before they started dating. Apparently, the former lovers are still very friendly despite their breakup, which may delight many of their fans. At present, the relationship seems to be purely business, although some are still optimistic that feelings might re-ignite after spending some time in the studio.

More updates and details on the new version of “Over and Over Again” are expected when it releases on Jan. 15.

As for Ariana, she recently visited her Broadway roots by making a surprise appearance at a Hollywood concert by composer Jason Robert Brown. The 22-year-old performed two songs from “13,” the Broadway musical that she debuted in, namely, “The Lamest Place In the World” and “Brand New You.” She also sang “Getting Out.” Brown introduced Ariana herself to the huge applause of the excited audience. Grande actually rose to international fame after she sang on Broadway, TIME wrote. She might be making more surprise appearances alongside Sykes soon.
