Tottenham Hotspur has a prime opportunity to tie for third place with host Swansea City on Sunday.

Coach Andre Villas-Boas and his squad are currently in 5th place with 26 points and trail third place Chelsea by three points. Chelsea did not play Saturday due to an engagement in the Club World Cup on Sunday.

Fourth place Everton drew 1-1 with Stoke City ensuring that they will not catch Chelsea by the end of the weekend.

Tottenham lost last week to Everton but had won the previous three matches. The team has won eight, drawn two, and lost six overall with 29 goals scored and 25 conceded. They have won four at home, lost two, and drawn two while scoring 13 and conceding 10. Jermain Defoe leads the squad with nine goals while Gareth Bale is second with six.

Swansea City sits in 10th place with six wins, five draws, and five losses but they have 23 points and can jump up to as high as fifth place with a win over Tottenham. The squad lost last weekend to Norwich City but had gone undefeated in its six matches prior. Michu leads the squad with 12 goals on the season.

Predictions: Both sides will play aggressive matches and it'll end in a 2-2 draw.
