Fans will get to see an "inception-y" "Game of Thrones" in Season 6, according to actor Isaac Hempstead-Wright in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

GOT fans were treated to a wonderful welcome this week when the 16-year-old actor's character Bran, appeared on a sneak peek photo sporting a new look Monday. Now, to put a cherry on top of that treat, viewers are given more exciting news when Hempstead-Wright revealed juicy details about Bran.

It seems that not only is Bran returning to the show with new mystical abilities, Jon Snow's brother will be pivotal to "Game of Thrones" Season 6 because he is set to be the eyes to critical scenes from the past and future of Westeros.

Bran disappeared from Season 5 since he supposedly had training with the Three-Eyed Raven.

As noted by Refinery, the Three-Eyed Raven will be portrayed by actor Max von Sydow in "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Through his off-screen training with Bran, the oldest living male Stark character will gain the ability to see extreme flashbacks and flash-forwards, which begs the question of whether Season 6 will finally answer long-held fan theories, specifically Jon Snow's parentage.

In the Entertainment Weekly interview, Hempstead-Wright explained:

"Previously Bran's seen tiny glimpses of future or past but never has he been very much in control in the situation. Now we're given looks into very important events in the past, present and future of this world and Bran is beginning to piece them together like a detective, almost as if he's watching the show. Equally, he's now discovering how crucial he could be in the Great War. It's quite Inception-y."

The important role actually came as a surprise for the actor, who thought at the end of Season 4 that his character Bran will be killed off when the HBO series' showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss wanted to speak to him.

"When I first heard the news Dan and David wanted to have a chat with me, I was like, 'Oh no!' Usually, that's to tell you [your character is] dead. So comparatively, missing a season was like, 'phew!'" the actor told EW.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, it turned out that Benioff and Weiss just wanted to tell Hempstead-Wright that they want to fast-forward and essentially skip Bran's cave-based psychic training in Season 5. They even reportedly compared his training to Luke Skywalker's off-screen training as a Jedi in "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi."

In a nutshell, Bran fans will definitely see the character's "biggest and most crucial season yet," which will prove to be a game-changer for both Bran and the Award-winning series itself, which used to avoid major flashbacks in previous seasons.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 is scheduled to air on April 24, 2016.
