Video game developer and publisher Square Enix has released its promised trailer for the highly-anticipated "Kingdom Hearts III" and "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue."

As part of the Jump Fiesta 2015 exposition, Square Enix launched the five-minute video where the trailer for "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8" and "Kingdom Hearts III" were consecutively played. Nonetheless, most part of the trailer was made up of the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8," while less than two minutes was allotted for "Kingdom Hearts III."

There was not much revealed from the new trailer for "Kingdom Hearts III," which was almost identical to what was seen from the trailer during the E3 2015.

As cited in the Game Rant report, the new trailer showed the combat gameplay of the game's protagonist Sora battling in the "Tangled" and "Hercules" world. The new Buzz Lightyear ride, which was previously announced, was also featured near the end of the trailer.

One noticeable addition to the trailer, however, was the "Shotlock" feature which was first seen from "Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep." Shotlock is a combat mechanic which allows players to target multiple enemies at the same time.

The trailer mentioned that both games are still in development.

As previous reported by Latinos Post, "Kingdom Hearts III" will showcase Disney-themed worlds such as "The Jungle Book," "The Fox and the Hound," "Toy Story," "Frozen," "Brave," "Wreck it Ralph" and "Big Hero 6." Moreover, there is the possibility that the game will add multiplayer gaming or new playable characters.

However, while rumors about a 2016 or 2017 release abound, there is not yet any official release date for the role-playing action video game.

For fans who are itching to play "Kingdom Hearts" once again, the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8," which was predominantly shown in the trailer, is already scheduled for a yet unspecified date in 2016.

"'Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue' contains the newly-remastered 'Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance,' the cinematics from 'Kingdom Hearts Unchained' and a special all new chapter taking place after the events of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep," PlayStation Lifestyle explained.

"Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8" will be exclusive for PlayStation 4 when released, while "Kingdom Hearts III" will be playable for PS4 and Xbox One.
