12-12-12 is not only a date that'll occur once in a century, but it is the date for the Superstorm Sandy relief concert.

The concert will broadcast and will be accessible to over two billion people with cable and digital channels showing the event worldwide. including AMC, BIO, ENCORE, FUSE, G4, HBO, HBO Latino, IFC, ION Television, MSG, MSG Plus, MundoFOX, Palladia, VH1 Classic, and WEtv, to name a few.

Starting at 7:30 p.m. EST, Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band are scheduled to start the event, live from a sold out Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.

The nearly four-hour event will also see performances by Alicia Keys, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Chris Martin, Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder, Eric Clapton, Kanye West, The Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, The Who, and Paul McCartney.

Don't be surprised to see surprise appearances or performances during the concert.

One rumor going around is a Nirvana reunion with Paul McCartney. According to The Sun, McCartney, Grohl, and fellow Nirvana member Krist Novoselic have been rehearsing in secret ahead of the relief concert.

Proceeds of the concert will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which aids the tri-state area who's been affected the worst by Sandy.
