Adele is back and making huge waves again as her album “25” continues to grow popular among music fans. A lot of people were particularly curious on how the "Hello" singer lost a lot of weight.
Based on an interview with The Sun, the Adele shared that she successfully let go of a few pounds by getting rid of sugar and tea from her daily diet. She said that she used to drink 10 cups of tea a day with two sugars each, so she was actually taking 20 sugars on a daily basis. By avoiding tea completely, she lost a lot of weight and reportedly enjoyed having more energy.
Although tea is generally healthy and can help in weight loss, the extra sugar was actually doing more damage than good to the British songwriter. Aside from tea, Adele said that she also surrendered alcohol and cigarettes. She preferred healthy food items after giving birth to son Angelo, 3, which ultimately gave her a slimmer figure. She has obviously shed some pounds since returning to the music scene in October 2015.
Adele also told Rolling Stone that, although she has been quite consistent in her nutritional regimen, as evidenced by her slimmer form, she would reward herself with an occasional sweet treat or Chinese meal. She shared that she is trying to gain more stamina to be healthy enough on the road. She cut back on sugar, but not entirely on carbohydrates. Adele is also reportedly hitting the gym regularly. She said that she is aiming to get in shape primarily for her own good, and not planning to be a size zero.
Yahoo! reported that Adele, 27, was on “The X Factor” to perform her new hit song. She told Olly Murs how she felt as if she was being judged by the panel, consisting of Rita Ora, Simon Cowell, Nick Grimshaw and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. The performance was actually pre-recorded. She added that Lauren Murray was her favorite, whom she met on the show.
RyanSeacrest.com revealed that Adele will be going on a world tour in 2016 to promote her “25” album. While sporting her sexier body, she will make several stops all over Europe and the United States. She will have a very busy schedule, with stops in different American cities from July to November next year.
More updates and details on the British singer-songwriter are expected soon.
