With only 10 days remaining before the dreaded "doomsday" on December 21, 2012. Latinos Post has rounded up the 10 best apocalypse films to watch on your last days on Earth. An guess what, if scientist are right and the world doesn't end on December 21, then you still had a great movie marathon.

2012
Released in 2009, "2012" tells the story of people struggling to survive as the Earth plunges into a series of cataclysmic events that threatens the survival of mankind.

The Day After Tomorrow
Released in 2004, "The Day After Tomorrow" follows Jack Hall, a paleoclimatologist for NORAD, who must travel to NYC to save his son while an international storm of epic proportions plunges the Earth into a new Ice Age.

Armageddon
Released in 1998 and featuring Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thronton and Ben Afflect, "Armageddon" follows a group of ragtag deep core drillers as they're sent to a Texas-size asteroid headed towards Earth. Definitely a tearjerker.

Independence Day
Released in 1996 and staring Will Smith, "Independence Days" shows you just want happens when superior aliens come to invade Earth and humans fight back.

Melancholia
Released in 2011, "Melancholia" takes a different approach to the end of the world. The film, featuring Kirsten Dunst, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Kiefer Sutherland, shows how a strained sisterly bond is further tested when a mysterious planet threatens to hit Earth.

Seeking a Friend For The End of The World
Released in 2012 and featuring Steve Carell and Keira Knightley, "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World," is a hilarious take on what can happened with an impending doomsday. Carell, who plays Dodge, heads out with his neighbor Penny (Knightley) to reunite with his high school sweetheart after his wife leaves him when they find out an asteroid will hit Earth.

Doomsday
Released in 2008, the aptly named "Doomsday" tells the story of a group of people working together to prevent a catastrophe that threatens the human race's existence. When a virus hits Great Britain, the authorities rush to contain those infected, however, 25 years later they'll have to head back to discover a cure.

Children of Men
Released in 2006, "Children of Men" is set in the future where women can no longer procreate but a inexplicably pregnant woman may help science delay the demise of the human race.

Zombieland
Released in 2009, "Zombieland" is a comedic look into the zombie-filled land of America. Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) joins forces with gun-carrying zombie killer Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) and sisters Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) as they travel across America.

28 Days Later
Released in 2002, "28 Days Later" is anything but a funny take on a post-apocalyptic world. The film, which features Cillian Murphy, Naomie Harris and Christopher Eccleston, takes place four weeks after a deadly disease spreads throughout the UK, leaving only a few survivors.
