Apple could be holding another media event by March 2016, where two Apple devices are expected to be brought out.
According to a report from 9to5Mac, the event may be giving folks a glimpse at the second generation of the Apple Watch, as well as the much talked about 4-inch iPhone that may likely be called the iPhone 6c.
Meanwhile, the debut of the Apple Watch seems to be on queue considering that it follows the annual trend of the Cupertino company as far as annual releases of their devices goes.
To recall, Apple held a similar event in March of this year, where they unveiled the Apple Watch together with a 12-inch MacBook with retina display. The Apple wearable came in different color variants as well as band options in September, although there were no significant changes internally.
The Apple Watch was eventually offered in the market last April but had its share of stock issues since the company produced them in limited quantities. The company was able to improve on that later on.
Word on the Apple Watch 2 has been a rarity thus far. The only thing tied up to the Apple wearable is that it will look practically the same as its predecessor, although it will come with a bigger (and hopefully longer-lasting) battery, as per reports from the Apple Insider.
Other than that, outdoor visibility has reportedly been improved.
On the other hand, the possible debut of the 4-inch iPhone comes as a bit of a surprise.
Most rumors tied to the said budget phone have been scarce, and the belief was that production for the said device would commence only by the first quarter of 2016.
Apparently, Apple is indeed working on one though it remains to be seen what the actual name of the 4-inch phone would be. There are some who claim that it will be the iPhone 6c but as mentioned in one of our previous post, it could be known as the iPhone Mini.
Among the earlier rumored features of the iPhone 6c/ iPhone Mini include that of the device possibly running on an A9 chip, stored in a colored metallic casing instead of the old plastic one that the iPhone 5c had.
Other possible specs include an 8 MP main camera and a 1.2 MP front-facing shooter, which overall doesn’t seem like a device that will gain much attention as singled out by Mac Rumors.
With details still scarce, more information on the Apple Watch 2 and the 4-inch iPhone may hopefully crop up in the coming weeks.
