Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcome their baby boy earlier than expected. She announced on her website app on Dec. 5 that their baby boy has come. "Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcomed the arrival of their son this morning. Mother and son are doing well," the announcement reads.
No official name of the baby boy has been announced yet, but Hollywood Life is reporting his middle name will be Robert, after his grandfather, Robert Kardashian. Also, in her September appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show, KK dropped hints about the names they have been considering for the baby. "I do like the name Easton, Easton West," she said. Asked if they will name him South (because after all his sister is North), Kardashian said: "It's definitely not South, every time someone says South I just want to roll my eyes. It's not a good direction." Will it be Easton Robert then? Her husband, however, us not a fan of the name, she told DeGeneres.
Khloe Kardashian, meanwhile, was the first among the siblings to visit her new nephew. She headed to Cedars-Sinai hospital in L.A. just hours after her sister gave birth. This was the same hospital that Lamar Odom was confined in while recovering from an incident in October. A source revealed to Hollywood Life that Khloe described her nephew as the cutest little guy she ever seen in her life. "She's told Kim she's going to spoil that little man rotten because he's so freaking cute," the source added.
Now that the new baby has arrived, everybody is curious about big sister North's reaction. In a blog post before giving birth, Kardashian admitted that she is a little nervous about North's reaction to her future brother. She nevertheless worked hard with her husband to prepare their first born.
"We read books with her about getting a baby brother and a new sibling all the time. We always say goodnight to baby brother," Kardashian wrote on her blog. She also shared that she knows it will not be easy for North. The 2-year-old cutie gets jealous when she holds other babies, she said. Nevertheless, Kim said she is confident that North will be such a good big sister.
Aside from the baby boy's name and North's reaction, people are also itching to know how Kardashian's labor went. In the weeks before KK's duedate, she underwent a procedure to shift the baby's position from breech into a head-down position. "This was soooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth. BUT it worked," she wrote in a separate blog entry.
