Tom Brady and the New England Patriots hosts the Houston Texans has fans predicting will have the Pats win by a “very slight edge.”

The game could serve as a preview of the American Football Conference Championship. Currently, New England leads the AFC East with nine wins and three loses while the Texans lead the AFC South standings with 11 wins and only one loss.

“What an individual matchup this game presents: A top candidate for Defensive Player of the Year trying to hunt down one of the leading contenders for Most Valuable Player,” reported NFL Network reporter Ian Rappaport. “How often do you get to see two of the NFL's finest go head-to-head, with each going out of his way to game plan for the other. That's what it'll be when Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt lines up across from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.”

The Week 14 game will have the spotlight on Monday Night Football on ESPN starting at 8:30 p.m. EST.

“In a broader sense, it's worth asking if the Patriots' suddenly balanced offense is the perfect machinery to toss at a Texans defense that has shown signs of faltering,” added Rappaport. “On the other side, have the Patriots seen an offense as balanced as Houston's unit, starring RB Arian Foster and WR Andre Johnson? A showdown of epic proportion, perfect for the spotlight game on Monday night.”

A fan poll on NFL.com asked who will win tonight’s game and the Patriots win with 29 points to the Texans’ 25 percent.

The fans have also predicted that Brady will score that most touchdowns (TD) compared to Schaub, who’s likely to score only one TD.

The game will be streamed live on ESPN.com.
