Taylor Swift's birthday is coming up, and the singer is allegedly planning an epic birthday celebration. There are rumors that Swift might fly in her girl squad, as well as her boyfriend Calvin Harris.
According to an article by Teen Vogue, Swift will be turning 26 this year, and the singer is planning a big birthday celebration with special focus on her girl squad. Rumors suggest that the "Bad Blood" singer will be flying all of her girl squad to Queensland Hamilton Island for her upcoming birthday celebration. Swift allegedly chose the place because it's paparazzi-free.
Swift is currently in Australia for her 1989 World Tour, and it only makes sense that she will be celebrating her birthday in the "Land Down Under". Aside from her squad that consists of Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge and many more, Swift's DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris is also reportedly planning to join the party.
Last year, Swift had an intimate birthday party, but had big names in the music industry as guests. Those who were game to pose with the singer in the photo booth were none other than Beyonce and Jay Z. Also present in her previous party were Justin Timberlake, Sam Smith and many more.
In another report by The Daily Telegraph, Swift is also speculated to have invited Oprah Winfrey, Kylie Minogue and Hugh Jackman to her party. Her close pal Ed Sheeran is also expected to attend.
Although there are some who admire her friendship with other celebrities, some people are questioning the authenticity of it. The "Shake It Off" singer addressed the issue in her recent interview with Vogue Australia. Swift said that it was easy, the way most of her friendships started.
"A lot of the time, I'll reach out to people to tell them they're great, and a friendship will come out of that," said Swift. "Our friends really have each other's backs. It's the first time in my life that I've had anything strong like that in the friendship department."
Apart from her seemingly happy relationships with friends and her boyfriend, there probably is nothing left for her to ask for. Her 1989 album and her global tour have been successful. However, there is one thing that Swift is looking forward to when her tour wraps up on December 12. According to reports, the singer has decided to take a break from work.
"I think I should take some time off. I think people need a break from me," Swift said.
