The biggest match in the English premier league is slated to take place on Sunday as the cross town rivals in Manchester are set to face off.
Manchester United and Manchester City currently sit atop the EPL standings with just three points separating the two sides. Both clubs have started to pull away from the pack as third place Chelsea (26 points) is already seven behind second place City (33 points). Meanwhile Manchester United has 36 and a win against City would give them a potentially insurmountable lead.
United coach Sir Alex Ferguson has already made it clear that he believes the EPL championship to be nothing more than two-horse race. ""I think it is going to be close," Ferguson said. "With that gap over Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham it'll be difficult for the two of us to collapse and let another team in. I think it will be between the two of us."
City coach Roberto Mancini has more at stake than Ferguson. Mancini's squad is coming off a terrible UEFA Champions League effort that saw them go winless in six matches. His job may be beyond saving, but he could certainly help his cause if he gets his team a second straight EPL title.

Prediction: It will be a tough match and an unpredictable one (as these derbies generally are). However, Manchester City is home and looking for redemption after a poor UCL run. 2-1 Man City.
