A new gameplay trailer of “Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” recently surfaced. The video featured a number of battle scenes, as well as Kakashi’s Susano-o transformation.
The upcoming game, “Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” by Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 showed some screenshots from the story mode too, featuring Kaguya and the battle for the ninja world, the Limited Time Only Event and the Fourth Shinobi World War. Some flashback scenes were also shown by Hardcore Gamer, displaying the events surrounding Madara and Hashirama. The game will include character popularity leaderboards, which includes the most frequently used characters.
The Limited Time Only Event will feature the rewards that players can earn after every battle that they win. The rewards also get bigger as they defeat more powerful enemies, Yibada wrote.
The trailer showed Kakashi and Obita working together to battle Itachi and Shisui. The Susano-o transformation was also shown. As Kakashi changed into the new form, he became a creature that resembled a Tengu with silver and blue tones. The new being also had wings and a large sword. Itachi, on the other hand, transformed into a fiery being.
In “Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4,” gamers can still play single-round battles. Players will have additional options in the type of gameplay and can participate in single-round or multiple-round matches. There will be at least 10 hours of cinematic action and fighting, due to the game’s two story arcs, namely “Genesis” and “The Final Showdown.” The fighting game will provide more details into the world of Naruto and his friends.
The trailer lasted 1:14, initially showing that the game was rated “T” by the ESRB. The gameplay showed how Kakashi and Itachi in a duel. The fighters fired a number of special abilities before transforming into their bigger and more powerful forms. There were also a couple of bars at the top, representing the life and power of the characters. Based on the short clip, it seemed like the characters can transform into the giant creatures if they gather enough power, and continue to battle in such forms for a limited period.
Gematsu cited that “Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” will release on Feb. 9, 2016 in North America. It will release on Feb. 4, 2016 in Japan. The game will be playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
