Several consumers would expect a lot of discounts ahead of Black Friday. This time, consumers looking to avail a brand new smartphone are in for a treat.
According to the report by Phone Arena, Expansys USA is offering deals for the Google Nexus 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6.
The Nexus 5, which is previously priced $349.99, can now be purchased for $199.99 and is available in the traditional white and black colors, as well as the red version.
Also available is the Nexus 5 D820 Audiopack, which includes a BT Headphone. This package costs $219.99, just $20 higher than the discounted price without the headphone.
Furthermore, NewEggFlash is also offering a slightly higher $209.9 deal for the Nexus 5. This offer, however, is for a limited time only.
As cited by GSM Arena, Google's Nexus 5 boasts a 5-inch true HD IPS display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution. These features come along a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 32 GB non-expandable internal storage, an 8MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It also comes with a wireless charging support for its 2300 mAh battery.
Phone Arena pointed that, even though the Nexus 5 was released in 2013 and there are already newer Nexus models, the current pricing for the device makes it a cheaper option to get one's hands to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Additionally, besides Nexus 5, Expansys is also offering a discounted price for the Samsung Galaxy S6 which was previously priced at $519.99 in the store.
Through the Expansys' pre-Black Friday deal, the unit can now be purchased for just $469.99.
Samsung Galaxy S6 sports a 5.1 inch screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It also has a 1440 by 2560 pixels resolution and is powered by Exynos 7420 chipset. Along with these specifications are its 3GB RAM, 16 MP primary camera with OIS support, 5 MP front facing camera, as well as fingerprint scanner, heart rate and SpO2 sensor, and accelerometer.
Just like Nexus 5, the device also boasts wireless charging for its 2,550 mAh battery.
PhoneArena highlighted that both units are available in a "new and unlocked condition." The units are also compatible for GSM carriers including T-Mobile, AT&T, or MetroPCs. However, the mentioned devices will not work on Verizon and Sprint.
Expansys is also offering discounts on various tablets and gadgets with up to 50 percent discounts.
