Motorola has had its share of offering folks cheeky and unique designs for the stylish mobile phone owner and by next week, three new collectibles could be out designed by famed designer Jonathan Adler.
Under the hood, the devices will carry practically the same specs so the difference really comes in the outer shell where three new eye-catching and stylish designs will certainly allow eventual owners to stand out above the rest of Moto X Pure handset owners.
These are limited edition designs which will be made available for pre-order via Motorola.com/ Jonathan Adler starting November 24.The specially designed handsets will be available by December 3, priced at $474.99.
The design will cover only the 32 GB variant of the Moto X Pure, each carrying an eye-catchy design made up of leather and/or wood. It was not mentioned however if the designs were made using the actual materials but may not matter as long as it stands out.
Aside from the outer shell designs, the phone carries pretty much the same specs.
That includes a device sporting the same 5.7-inch Quad HD display, powered by a six-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3 GB of RAM, a high 21 MP main camera, a 5 MP front-facing shooter and something that runs on Android Lollipop which will hopefully be included in the expected Android 6.0 Marshmallow bump that Motorola will reportedly be doing in the next couple of weeks.
For his part, Adler did bare that he was pretty excited with the collaboration between him and Motorola in coming up with a specially designed device, something that he believes any stylish home owner should not be deprived off.
On the part of Motorola, this is not the first time that the company has come up with limited edition models.
Last year, there was that exclusive Moto X 2014 edition sold via Verizon Wireless that bore a football leather back. With that said, these new leather and wood backs should be something interesting as well.
For those who are unaware on the feedback regarding the Moto X Style Pure Edition, the device did get its share of positive reviews, highlighted by its up to par performance, not to mention its high megapixel backed camera for such a reasonable price.
With that in mind, Motorola and Adler offer the folks who want to stand out with these limited edition designs that will surely be something worth having and/or giving with the Holidays fast approaching.
