With the Yuletide season fast approaching and with more gadget deals popping up, people are searching for better reasons to purchase their gadgets. Probably two of the most compared gadgets are the PS4 and Xbox One.

According to the Latin Post, PlayStation 4 has been a dominant force in the gaming market for some time now. However, with a new gaming line-up for Xbox One, it might be possible that the console will be a better choice for players for 2016. In addition, Yahoo! Games has noted that each console's gaming line-up could be a deciding factor too.

To help you decide, below is a comparison of the PS4 and Xbox One.

PlayStation 4

  •  PS4is able to run higher resolution games and frame rates than Xbox One.
  •  According to Yibada, surveys indicate that PlayStation 4 is by far the most powerful gaming console in the modern era.
  •  PS4has Playstation VR. While pricey, it still is one of the best inventions in gaming to date.

PlayStation 4 Gaming Line-Up

  •  "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" - several retailers reportedly offer discounted "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" PlayStation 4 bundles.
  •  "Horizon: Zero Dawn" - an action-adventure role-playing game inspired by "Assassin's Creed" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim."
  •  "The Last Guardian" - its predecessor is "Shadow of the Colossus," enough said.
  •  "No Man's Sky" - a first-person adventure survival game of another level. Showcases infinite universes and planets open for exploration.

Xbox One

  •  Xbox One cannot be shared between multiple players.
  •  Xbox does not have a game exclusively for the console.

Xbox One Gaming Line-Up

  •  "Gears of War 4" - the latest installment of the game is one of the most anticipated games in 2016. Its PlayStation 4 counterpart is "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."
  •  "Quantum Break" - one of the most awaited games as well, this game comes from the creators of "Max Payne" and "Alan Wake."
  •  "Crackdown 3" - a third-person open world shooter game is a hardcore game as seen in the recent GamesCon here.
  •  "ReCore" - details currently unknown
  •  "Tacoma" - reportedly has similarities to "BioShock." The game was developed by creators of 2013's "Gone Home."

While the PlayStation 4 seems like the much more exciting option, Xbox's list of games clearly rivals that of the PS4. In the end, the kind of games you play is as important a factor as the experience the console provides. The choice is yours.
