"Fifty Shades Darker" is not set until 2017 but lead actress Dakota Johnson gave some details about her thought and what's it like to play her role Anastasia Steele in the racy movie.
The 24-year-old star did an interview with Elle magazine and talked about her role as Anastasia Steele in the highly anticipated movie for 2017 "Fifty Shades Darker." Now although the production of the film is apparently having some difficulties, the producers, as well as the author of the book E.L. James, are confident that they will be able to finish the movie by their set release date.
Meanwhile, lead star of the movie Dakota Johnson answers some questions and reveals what piqued her interest the most while reading "Fifty Shades of Grey." Johnson said that she was more curious about how characters Steele and Grey were "breaking each other down emotionally" than the spicy sex scenes.
Johnson also spoke about having to do all the risky scenes and the confidence she had to bring in the set to be able to be in character as Anastasia Steele. The actress admitted that she didn't have any problem doing any of the scenes all because of one reason.
"I don't have any problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame," Johnson said.
The young actress also talked about how it was like growing up while having a famous mother like Melanie Griffith. She noted that it was hard for children of celebrities to be able to have a normal life because they are constantly being watched by the press, Yibada reported.
"I think people, especially the press, like to pick on children of famous people and I think that f*cking awful. Things get made up, it's so said. And there's absolutely nothing you can do about it as a 16-year-old. You're like...'Why? What did I do?'" Dakota said.
Johnson has since reaped the benefits from the success of "Fifty Shades of Grey." Without a doubt, fans of the book are very much looking forward to finding out what happens to Steele and Grey in the next film. It was reported that the sequel will tackle around Christian Grey's past and bring in a new character which is the reason why he is the way he is. Fans will also be able to see Steele and Grey's relationship evolve in "Fifty Shades Darker."
The movie is expected to be released on Feb. 10, 2017, while third installment "Fifty Shades Freed" has a release date of Feb. 9, 2018.
