These girls took synchronized dancing skills to another level by performing an over the top dance routine, full of back flips and pyramids, while on hover boards.
Anyone who has ever been on a hoverboard or watch someone eat pavement while riding a hoverboard knows it is pretty difficult to keep ones balance. These girls gymnasts, led by Kailey Maurer and Kelianne Stankus, effortlessly incorporate gymnastic stunts, yoga-based hand stands, and a cheerleading pyramid into an impressive chore to Justin Bieber's "Sorry."
The video has gone viral since its upload on November 8, racking up over 250,000 views. Moreoever, Kailey Maurer along with Kelianne Stankus, Ciera Wilson, Diana Tatevossian, and Donnakaran Tatevossian had the opportunity to showcase their hoverboard skills on the The Ellen Show opening up for The Biebs!
They are definitely sorry, not sorry!
Latinos Post wrote to Maurer who said she and Stankus knew the first time they saw a hoverboard it was on!
"The first time we ever saw a hoverboard we thought it would be a great idea to try a handstand on it. It turned out to be pretty easy for us, so we immediately thought to incorporate our acrobatic tricks on the boards. We thought it would be amazing to put together a video using the boards, incorporating what we love to do," Maurer wrote.
Both girls were experienced hoverboard riders, but the three remaining dancers had only practiced their acrobatic skills on a hoverboard twice before shooting began. However, two 3 hour long rehearsals later and these trained acrobatic gymnasts basically broke the internet.
However, that does not mean training was a piece of cake.
"The hardest part to master was figuring out what the board would do in each handstand position. The boards can be unpredictable depending on where you put your weight," adds Maurer.
The talented hoverboard ninjas have used to train on the USA National Acrobatic Gymnastics Team and were finalists at the World Championships for acrobatic gymnastics.
If fans cannot get enough this hoverboard dance routine, do not worry! Kailey Maurer promises there will be more awesome videos to come.
