Khloe Kardashian opens up about her relationship with new man James Harden as she makes a balance between her love life and her support for ex-husband Lamar Odom.
Over the past few weeks, Kardashian has been torn between the two guys in her life. Kardashian's relationship with NBA star James Harden has not been easy since Lamar Odom was hospitalized. Hollywood Life reported that Kardashian admitted to things being "weird" with Harden especially after Odom's drug overdose.
In an interview she did with Ryan Seacrest, Kardashian explained how Harden has been supportive of her even though the basketball player felt uncomfortable with a few things. Kardashian admitted that she felt she had to handle things and look after Odom even with his ongoing relationship with Harden. But thankfully, her new boyfriend is supportive of her choices.
"James has been great. He's been very supportive with everything. I'm sure there was, of course, times that he was uncomfortable with some of the things, but I'm a very honest person and I have nothing to hide," Kardashian said. "I was very open with how I feel like I had to handle everything with Lamar, and I really, really appreciate how supportive James has been."
The reality TV star also revealed the reason why she had to dismiss the divorce case she filed. Kardashian said that she decided to delay the process while the former NBA star recovers in the hospital. She explained that when she first filed for divorce, there were times when Odom did not follow through with rehab interventions. So she decided to hold off the divorce until Odom is back on his feet.
As of the moment, Odom has made progress with his recovery. Kardashian said that most of his organs are okay and it's more of his brain that has been affected with the overdose. She also said that it would take at least a year for him to fully be well.
"I love Lamar, and this was always a fear of mine that we'd get to this place," Kardashian said. "So, I don't see how I couldn't be involved."
Kardashian is currently busy promoting her book "Strong Looks Better Naked." She recently dropped a visit on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and talked about how strong she's become over the years. Kardashian said that if Odom's hospitalization happened two years ago, she wasn't sure if she would be able to find the balance or have the tools to deal with the situation.
