Looking to pick up a massive Android smartphone this holiday season? The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and HTC Droid DNA (granted this is a Verizon-only smartphone) should be at the top of your list, but instead of going through carriers and paying full price, a quick jaunt to Amazon Wireless reveals savings of over $100.
Carriers AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular all sell the Galaxy Note 2 for $299.99 with a two-year contract. T-Mobile is currently running a holiday promotion until Dec. 20 that prices the Galaxy Note 2 at $199.99 after a mail-in rebate.
All of the Galaxy Note 2 Amazon Wireless deals listed below require the purchase of a two-year contract.
Amazon Wireless is currently offering the Titanium Gray AT&T Galaxy Note 2 for $249.99. The Marble White variant is being discounted to the incredible price of $174.99. The white Sprint variant goes for $239.99, and the Titanium Gray costs $224.99. Verizon customers can pick up a Marble White or a Titanium Gray Galaxy Note 2 for $199.99.
Most of these variants are listed as currently being backordered, and Amazon Wireless states they should ship out within 1-2 weeks. Still, with those kinds of savings, it's hard to justify purchasing a Galaxy Note 2 through a carrier.
Those interested in the HTC Droid DNA will be pleased to find out that Amazon Wireless is discounting the phone by $50. Instead of charging $199.99 like Verizon, Amazon Wireless is charging $149.99 with a two-year contract. The device is currently listed as being backordered, and also sports an estimated shipping time of 1-2 weeks.
The prices and ship times will fluctuate, so it's best to get in on these deals now - especially if you'd like them wrapped under the Christmas tree.
