The news that No Man’s Sky followers have been long waited for is finally out. The game will be out by June 2016.
Such came no less from Sean Murray, the same man who was recently riddled by questions on whether there was any truth to the rumor that No Man’s Sky would be actually released on Oct. 27.
Well, it just so happened that while Sony did unveil some of their games, No Man’s Sky was of course not around. But that doesn’t mean that there were no updates on the mass exploration game, particularly the release date which may are eagerly waiting for.
The game will be out by the middle of next year after Murray bared that key developments tied up with the game have finally fallen into place.
The fact that the massive space exploration game could take even more than a lifetime to cover has drawn the interest of gamers. The first 18 minutes of gameplay was released back in July 2015 and apparently the ones who were able to try it out are clamoring for more.
It looks like Hello Games has been listening and those demands will be coming true by next year barring any problems.
There will be a version for the PS4 and the PC which will come with features such as its own unique in-game history, a built-in player economy, and plenty of roots in other sci-fi masterpieces.
This should be the best news yet for PS4 gamers who were earlier on hoping for a surprise debut at the Paris Games Week.
With the clamor No Man’s Sky was getting, an impromptu revelation would have been epic. Considering Halo 5: Guardians was being released by rival Microsoft for its Xbox One, a surprise release was something many had initially hoped for.
The attention would have gone as far as to racking in more sales, not to mention a possible push as well for Sony PlayStation 4 sales as well in the process. But with Murray’s announcement, such could probably be good as well with folks gearing up for an obviously blockbuster game coming out in 2016.
With a release date, rumors on what add-ons and features are possibly next for No Man’s Sky. With a big world to play in and probably lots of things to do, expect a lot of new and wild speculations coming out left and right in the coming days and months. Check out the trailer below.
