With the year nearing a close, there will be a lot of people out there who could be planning a device change. Of course there are many devices to choose from though the frontrunners will most likely be a tossup between Apple and Samsung.
Of the two, Samsung has offered quite a lot of new handsets which first came out in April. That includes of course the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
The two would eventually be joined by the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, further posing more problems for consumers who are wondering on which of the devices to get.
The first thing that comes into mind would of course be the pricing standpoint. Of the devices in mention, the safe bet is still the Samsung Galaxy S6 which is technically the base model from the batch.
It still stands to be the top and sensible phone among the phones in the Samsung Galaxy lineup while the choice incrementally moves up depending on the features or perhaps overall design that buyers would be tempted to consider.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + offers that big curved display which should make it standout to the simple display that the S6 has. Along with that comes a higher 4GB RAM and a more reliable battery (3000 mAh).
The S6 Edge + is technically a phablet as well less the S-Pen and carries an interesting design that should reel in the folks who put premium on class and device aesthetics.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 on the other hand pretty much carries the same specs only that it is really a phablet to begin with. It is the latest edition from Samsung Galaxy Note series and is the least expensive among Samsung’s large screen devices.
Other differences would include the dimensions. The Samsung Galaxy S6 measures about 143.4x70.5x6.8mm and weighs just 138 grams.
The two other variants are larger and slightly heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, the device measures 154.4×75.8×6.9mm and weighs just 153 grams while the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 comes in at 153.2×76.1×7.6mm with a weight of 171 grams.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy S6 the off-contract price ranges start at $552 for the 32GB model. The Galaxy S6 Edge + has prices starting at $720 for the 32GB variant while the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has prices starting $670.
Hence and if we rank it according to price, folks who want the best deal for the latest Samsung device could be well off with the Samsung Galaxy S6. Depending on what features one is actually looking for, such could vary from there and depend on the budget on hand.
