Fans of ABC's hit series 'Once Upon A Time' were left on the edge of their seat on Sunday after finding out that evil witch Cora (Barbara Hershey) and Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) have managed to seize Aurora's (Sarah Bolger) heart. The wicked duo leave the princess unknowingly enchanted before letting her return to Emma (Jennifer Morrison), Mary Margaret/Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Mulan (Jamie Chung).
Last week's episode, entitled "Into the Deep," followed the mother-daughter duo (Emma and Snow) as they worked towards finding a way back to their family in Storybrooke. Back in the sleepy little New England town, Snow's husband, David/Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), and Emma's son Henry (Jared S. Gilmore), were forced to work with Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle) to help the two leave Fairy Tale Land. Fans also witnessed as Charming makes the ultimate sacrifice to save his wife and daughter and goes under the dreaded sleeping spell.
The upcoming episode, "Queen of Hearts," will bring everyone's struggle to an epic climax. Emma and Snow will face off with Cora and Hook in hopes to secure the coveted compass that will lead the way to the portal back to Storybrooke. However, back in Storybrooke Regina and Gold will do everything in the power to keep Cora from crossing over.
Their desperate plan will kill anyone who enters the portal placing Snow and Emma's lives in danger, ABC teased. In the meantime, Hook travels to Wonderland to meet a "vengeful" Queen of Hearts." In a promo for the winter finale, fans witness an epic fight between Emma and Hook as she and her mother race to get to the portal back home.
'Once Upon A Time' S2E9, "Queen of Hearts," airs Sunday, December 2 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
