Just roughly three weeks before the release of "Call of Duty: Black Ops III," video game developer Treyarch has once again, gave fans something to be thrilled about and look forward to try.
During their "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" livestream, the game developer revealed the "Free Run" mode which will be featured in their upcoming first-person shooter video game.
In this mode, players will be traversing in four obstacles with increasing difficulty level as they progress. Moreover, as the name suggests, the mode will require players to use various game movements such as jumping, sliding, and parkour, in order to pass through the obstacles within the time limit.
As mentioned by VG 24/7, the player's record in finishing the obstacle will be placed in the leaderboard along the time it took them to complete it.
Game Rant cited that the mode of the game will definitely be a "trial and error" stage for all gamers in order for them to determine the best combination of moves that are fit for a certain area as well as to their style of play.
Moreover, the site mentioned that the new mode will allow gamers to learn and master the controls of the game without worrying of being killed or battling enemies.
According to Game Rant, the new mode is an addition to Treyarch's development of various game types in the game such as Gun Game, the traditional and popular Team Deathmatch, as well as Zombies.
Previously, it was announced that the game will feature a lot of changes based from the player's feedback during the game's August Beta testing. This comes after also revealing in other news about the return of its highly anticipated and popular Nuketown map.
The game developer might be hoping that the addition of these new game types along with major improvements and updates will entice gamers despite the absence of a single-player campaign for Xbox 360 and PlayStation (PS) 3.
On the other hand, Treyarch also discussed in the livestream the new matchmaking system in "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" that will put team balance on the game through "network functionality" before considering the players' skills.
Treyarch has been actively building and sustaining the hype for "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" that is already set for release in November. Part of this is hosting a livestream every Friday where they will be discussing details and other information about "Black Ops III."
"Call of Duty: Black ops III" will be released on November 6, 2015 and will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
