When fans envision the fight between Batman & Superman in the much anticipated "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice," it is easy to imagine that Superman will win hands down. Batman does not have supernatural powers and only rely with his armor and gadgets. Superman, though technically has no supernatural powers either, is not human and posses strength insurmountable for human being such as Batman.
However, a new set of Lego toys revealed how the makers of the film make the battlefield equal for the two superheroes. Unwittingly, the toys also revealed a major spoiler of one of the film's significant scene.
A Lego set, of which photo was posted via Eurobricks, show Batman holding a gun that shoots Kryptonite bullets. The set includes Batsignal build, Kryptonite, Superman and armored Batman mini figures.
Another photo, also posted on the website, is a microscale version of Batman v Superman Batmobile. Another set of Lego toys has the Batmobile, LexCorp vehicle, two henchmen and Batman minifigures.
The major spoiler courtesy of the Lego set seemed to coincide with a 3D photo posted on Instagram by visual effects artist Sean Ray. The photo shows Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman (in that order). According to Heroic Hollywood, Ray is working for The Moving Picture Company, the brain behind the visual effects that fans will see in "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice."
In his Instagram post, Ray said that the visual effects for the film are already completed. "Batman v Superman is wrapped, one the best films i have worked on! My inner child is happy! I'm the biggest superman fan ever!" Ray's caption of the photo reads.
Heroic Hollywood is guessing that since the visual effects are done, a new trailer will be coming very soon. The website also noted Ray's response to a fan who asked whether he created a 3D model for Doomsday. Ray said Doomsday will not be in the film. But then again another fan stressed that Ray may have signed a non-disclosure contract, hence the denial.
"Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" comes to theaters March 25, 2016. The synopsis posted on the official Warner Bros website reads: "Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of her it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before."
