The WWE hasn’t exactly been faring well in the ratings game and perhaps it may be time to bring back some old faces to perk up the WWE locker room.

The word out is that the WWE wants to come up with a top Hispanic star, an area which once had plenty of familiar names.

That includes Rey Mysterio, Carlitos and Alberto Del Rio.

There were talks about Carlitos possibly returning but it seems that he and the WWE were not able to come to an agreement as far as his pay is concerned. Word has it that the offer was so low that Carlitos lost interest though there could be still a chance to bring him back.

Rey Mysterio was another name that could have returned but such could depend on whether Kalisto can live up to the billing of succeeding Mysterio as the next top Hispanic high flyer.

Mysterio seems to be doing well at AAA and Lucha Underground so if the WWE has plans of bringing him back, it would pretty much depend on how much money is offered to the former WWE heavyweight champion.

Alberto Del Rio could be another option though he is pretty much made in the AAA and Lucha Underground like Mysterio.

Del Rio left the WWE in August, 2014 after getting into a physical altercation with a WWE employee who allegedly made racist remarks against the 38-year-old star at the time.

It didn’t take long for Del Rio to hook on with AAA. He was however forced to carry a new name, seeing that the WWE had the rights on his ‘Alberto Del Rio’ tag. He would be known as El Patron which stands for ‘The Boss’.

A return by Del Rio could indeed be a big boost but the fact remains that the numbers game will also be put into play as well as some contract details like exclusivity and perhaps schedules.

At present, Del Rio is the AAA Mega Heavyweight Champion and is pretty much doing well. If that is the case, how can the WWE try to win back Del Rio?

It should be noted that despite parting ways last year, both the WWE and Del Rio are good. But the thing is that the WWE will need to come up with something tempting and irresistible to draw back the 38-year-old wrestler to the WWE fold.

Summing it all up, if the WWE is truly determined to have another top Hispanic star, it may cost them. Either that or they can prolong their patience on Kalisto or even Sin Cara.

With the WWE not doing so well in the ratings game, hooking up their former and established stars could happen if they come up with an irresistible deal on the table.
