WWE is set to hold another annual pay-per-view this coming October 25, 2015, WWE Hell in a Cell which will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
To date, eight matches have been made official for the said date as of this writing. That includes:
- Kevin Owens vs. Ryback for the WWE Intercontinental Title
- Seth Rollins vs. Kane for the WWE Heavyweight Title
- The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz
- Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella
- Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt
- Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker
While interest will surely be on the WWE title matches, the continuing story involving Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker is perhaps the most colorful and highly anticipated matchup of the mix.
To recall, the bad blood between the Beast and the Dead Man dates way back to Wrestlemania 30 when Lesnar broke the Undertaker’s winning streak.
Lesnar and Heyman continued to lay claim on the feat and apparently, the Dead Man heard enough. In response to the continued berating by Lesnar and Heyman, the Undertaker resurfaced and even cost Lesnar a chance at reclaiming the WWE Heavyweight Title at WWE Battleground. Things escalated between the two, as can be seen in the video below, in succeeding shows.
From there, it was clear that the Undertaker was looking to shut up Lesnar and Heyman and the issue escalated into a riot. Both men eventually faced off at WWE SummerSlam, with the Undertaker pulling out a highly controversial win.
Now both seem to have taken some time off at WWE Night of Champions, but the two will be locking horns once again in two weeks time.
Rumors are flying that their battle at WWE Hell in a Cell will be the conclusion of the storyline and now people are wondering how it will end up.
Brock Lesnar defeats the Undertaker
Seeing the see-saw battle between the two, Lesnar could end up victorious and send the Undertaker reeling. With the Dead Man likely nearing retirement, a win by the Beast seems logical, considering he is in the middle of perhaps his next rival, The Big Show.
No Contest or Undertaker Win due to Outside Interference
It could be a clean or dirty way to score another win but this scenario may not make sense. If the Dead Man wins, it somehow gives the idea that this feud is not yet finished. With belief that Taker could be retiring at Wrestlemania 32, a loss to the Beast Incarnate may not hurt him as much as it would Lesnar.
Then again, he could win but with some outside help. Big Show has been jawing with Lesnar the past weeks, so it seems imminent that the two will be slugging it out after Lesnar is done with the Dead Man.
Will Kane Get Involved?
Another star that has a beef with Lesnar is Kane. Though he is scheduled to face Seth Rollins as well (which he will likely lose as well), recall that it was Lesnar who broke his ankle some months back.
This angle seems a bit off, but then again one has to remember that he and the Undertaker are the Brothers of Destruction. And we all know how brothers have each other’s backs.
Whatever happens, all eyes will be on Lesnar for sure. He is bound to continue his appearance while Undertaker is likely to go on hiatus.
