Many have been revealed about "Halo 5: Guardians." As previously reported, many fans eagerly wait for the game, especially with its promise of not only being the best in the "Halo" franchise but also having a bigger and more improved gameplay than its predecessors.

Nonetheless, gameplay aside, another aspect of the "Halo 5" that fans have been clamoring for is the game's focus on the campaign story where the roles of main characters Master Chief and Agent Locke will be emphasized.

Now, to build more hype around the game's storyline, a new TV trailer has been revealed where the vague story of the game was given more light and clarity.

The trailer by Microsoft and video game publisher 343 Industries started with the death of Master Chief. The start of the trailer could be seen as a continuation, but on a different perspective of the first TV trailer entitled "A Hero Falls" which shows the announcement of the death of The Master Chief who was then acknowledged as an excellent soldier.

However, as displayed by the new clip, the happenings revealed on the previous trailer was the "official story." The "unofficial story" was that Agent Locke was ordered by the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) and Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) to hunt the still-alive Master Chief who, despite being a great warrior, has disobeyed orders and has committed some yet undisclosed crimes.

The new revelations in the trailer builds up on the previously reported plot of "Halo 5," which just made a mere mention of Spartan Locke tracking down the missing Master Chief and trying to determine the cause and real reason of his disappearance while also addressing the ruthless attacks happening space colonies.

According to Game Rant, the new trailer was part of Microsoft's strengthening promotional push for "Halo 5," especially with the game already scheduled to be released just less than a month from now.

Moreover, the site also pointed that Microsoft has already spent a lot for advertisement promoting the game, highlighting that the advertisement for "Halo 5" last week was only the second video game ad that was aired on NBC during an NFL game.

The new TV trailer will be aired this Sunday's "Fear the Walking Dead" episode on AMC.

"Halo 5: Guardians" will hit the market on October 27, 2015 and will be exclusively available for Xbox One. Meanwhile, a "Halo" TV series to be directed by Steven Spielberg is also in the works with Showtime being tagged to air it. However, an official airing date is yet to be announced.
