Arsenal has looked better of late after shaky few weeks.
Their 0-0 draw to Aston Villa over the weekend was nothing to clamor over, but it got them a necessary point to keep pace with Everton and Chelsea. Arsenal continues to have a solid offense and one of the best defenses in the league thanks in part to the emergence of several players. Olivier Giroud has been a major contributor for Arsenal of late with three goals in his last three EPL matches and brought his season total to four after a slow start. Arsenal has also gotten a lot from Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski. This team has only won two of seven on the road and has lost two while drawing three. They need that record to improve if they hope to make a run in the EPL.
Standing in their way is Everton who has a one point lead on Arsenal. Everton has won three and drawn three at home and they have scored just 11 of their 23 on their own turf. This team is coming off a loss and a draw so they will be fired up for this home match. Marouane Fellaini leads the team with six goals, but Nikica Jelavic also has five goals on the season. Both will pose serious threats for Arsenal's defense.
Prediction: Arsenal's road record is poor and they will struggle at Everton. 1-0 Everton.
