Adele is reportedly getting her own hour-long BBC television special to promote her first album in four years, "25."
"Adele is simply too big just to be part of a green room of guests on a chat show," a source revealed to The Sun, via Metro. "She deserves her own dedicated program where the spotlight will only be on her."
"It's not like she desperately needs the publicity but you can't turn your nose up at that level of exposure," the source added.
Meanwhile, the "Rolling in the Deep" hitmaker may have been delaying the release of her third studio record, because she apparently does not feel confident about how it sounds.
In an interview with the publication, Blur frontman Damon Albarn claimed to have collaborated with his fellow Brit on five tracks but is uncertain whether his contribution will actually make the final cut.
"Adele asked me to work with her and I took the time out for her. I'm not a producer, so... I don't know what is happening really," he said. "Will she use any of the stuff? I don't think so. Let's wait and see."
The rocker then described the current state of the "Someone Like You" crooner: "The thing is she's very insecure. And she doesn't need to be, she's still so young."
"I heard the work she did with my friend Brian, aka Danger Mouse," he added before warning the upcoming LP is "very middle of the road."
The news of Adele's potential TV slot comes amid claims that she will headline Glastonbury Festival in 2016.
"Adele's going to be rolling in the Glastonbury mud next year if this gamble is on the money," a bookies representative said in a press, via Consequence of Sound.
"Punters have piled into her odds, and with tickets on sale in a couple of weeks Festival organizers may have let a cat out of the bag," she added.
