"Destiny: the Taken King" is about to hit the market. Hence, in anticipation of this, popular energy drink company Red Bull, who formed a partnership with Bungie to bring a time-exclusive DLC mission in "Destiny," provided some details about their "Red Bull Quest" by sending their own team to finish it.
In a detailed account presented at the official website of Red Bull, the company's squad started the quest with an Energy Spike Mission where they were required to "acquire light" and reach "Overcharge 3" by navigating through the world.
The team then went into an 18-minute quest to take out and finish eight sniper shanks in S.A.B.E.R and the room boss, S.A.B.E.R. 2 which they completed down the wire. This was followed by a "Rift Exhibition" quest that tasked them to win three rift matches.
Lastly, in order to claim the quest reward, the group has to complete a new version of "The Sunless Cell" Strike quest at Level 40 wherein they need to destroy six shriekers and defeat a specific Hallowed Thrall called the Unstable Core. After which, they will again have 18 minutes to wrap up the game by finishing the "Level 40 Shield Brothers" Strike mission.
The reward of finishing the quest is a consumable item that upgrades the SR-O Swiftriver Sparrow, a transportation vehicle given at the beginning of the quest, into a faster version SR-1 Swiftriver Sparrow.
As cited by Game Rant, the new SR-1 Swiftriver Sparrow might be able to give Guardians an advantage in playing the new Sparrow racing patrol mission brought by the Year 2 update.
On the other hand, Game Rant also mentioned that the quest will be available once "Destiny: the Taken King" is released and will be exclusive for those who input the code from Red Bull products until December 31, 2015.
Nonetheless, it will be available to all gamers on January 1, 2016 right after the expiration of the Red Bull time-exclusive deal.
According to Cinema Blend, "Destiny: The Taken King" will continue on the storyline of the first expansion "The Dark Below" where the Guardians defeated the Hive deity named Crota. In this new "Destiny" game, the guardians will be in a battle against the creator of all Hives, Oryx, the one called the "Taken King" who also happens to be Crota's father.
The game will be launched on September 15, 2015 and will be available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
