Chris Brown's child custody war with Nia Guzman has ended, and it seems like the R&B singer received an early Christmas surprise. On Friday morning in Houston court, Chris was awarded joint custodial rights for her daughter Royalty, even after Guzman only wanted to give him supervised visitation rights, per TMZ.

The report further notes that the 26-year-old singer and his 32-year-old baby mama, who both lives in Los Angeles, will have "50/50 physical custody" of Royalty. They will take turns to spend time with their daughter every four days.

Hollywood Life released an exclusive video of Chris Brown holding Royalty in his arms after the decision. The report said, "This is just too precious. Chris comes out to greet Royalty who is with his mom, Joyce. He scoops Royalty up in his arms and makes a funny face at her, to which she shyly giggles at. He then adorably comments on her full head of hair and she smiles while clutching onto his shirt. This father-daughter bond is seriously the cutest."

The news outlet noted that during the custody battle, Guzman had a lot of demands, asking $15,000 a month for child support. Fortunately, the Houston judge decided that Guzman and Brown will have joint custody and Guzman will receive $2,500 a month for support.

Brown was also anxious that the judge might rule out the DNA test he submitted to prove that he is indeed the biological father of Royalty. But according to another report from Hollywood Life, an insider confirms that the "Loyal" singer is Royalty's father, saying, “Paternity has been adjudicated. Chris is Royalty’s father”. The source also disclosed that Brown “is required to pay all medical bills or medical insurance for Royalty too."

According to DNA, Guzman was also ordered “to not talk badly about the singer and not to reveal anything about the case on social media.”

Chris Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, was also overjoyed of the court decision and even took to Twitter his excitement by posting a picture of Breezy holding Royalty in his arms. He captioned it with, "He's the #bestdad @mombreezy chrisbrown."

Bo Nichols, Brown’s family attorney, also said to Hollywood Life that the singer could not hide his tears after hearing the court’s decision. “Chris is beyond happy to be Royalty’s father. The minute he was adjudicated as her father, he teared up. Royalty is one lucky little girl to have such a loving father like Chris,” Nichols said.
