Bray Wyatt has been busy for the past months, tied up with the storyline feud against Roman Reigns.
The feud started way back at WWE Money in the Bank where Wyatt interfered in the ladder match that Reigns almost had his hands on. And from there, the two have been at it.
Of course, there were new faces inserted in the mix. Luke Harper returned and Dean Ambrose reinforced his buddy. The latest is of course Braun Strowman, the Wyatt’s hulking new family member who made his presence felt on the WWE RAW episode after WWE SummerSlam.
Until now, it was believed that Reigns and Ambrose would be getting a third member to even out the odds but such may not happen after all.
This comes with word that Bray Wyatt is dealing with a shoulder injury. Such was revealed by the Nature Boy Rick Flair on the WOOOOO! Nation podcast.
If this bit is indeed true, then the entry of Strowman makes a bit of sense. It somehow brings to mind the time when Harper and Erick Rowan were managed by Bray Wyatt, the uncanny one left to do his dirty work outside the ring. Could this be the case from here on for the Wyatts?
If Bray Wyatt does spend more time in the sidelines, it somehow evens the numbers between the two factions. But advantage will still obviously be on their side seeing how huge and dominant Strowman has been from recent WWE shows.
Such could be a temporary setback and something that could slow down the rise of Bray Wyatt. He has been building momentum and is obviously someone the WWE Universe has been rooting for. He is slowly getting that push which came out even before WWE MOTB but the fact is his health is a priority too.
This shouldn’t be much of an issue for someone like Bray Wyatt. He has proven to be a star to watch, whether it means seeing him competing or simply watching from outside the WWE ring.
With Reigns benefitting from Wyatt, his next project could be building on his Black Sheep, Braun Strowman. Aside from his monstrous side, Strowman is technically a bit RAW so if the WWE intends to push this monstrous newcomer, Bray Wyatt is certainly the right man for the job.
So how long will Bray Wyatt be out?
It may all depend on the extent of the injury to his shoulder which the WWE would do well to address. Hence, don’t be surprised to see less of Bray Wyatt getting it on physically with Reigns and Ambrose for now.
