While fans may be tired of waiting for his long-delayed studio album, "Tha Carter V," Lil Wayne has reportedly been suffering from extreme exhaustion.
The New Orleans emcee, who has been touring most of the summer, took the stage as the headliner act for the Billboard Hot 100 Festival at the Jones Beach Theater on Aug. 22.
Upon his arrival at the venue, Wayne reportedly lost sense of where he was performing and mistook the concert for an awards show, having a momentary mental lapse because he was exhausted beyond belief.
"He looked around and was like, 'I thought this was supposed to be the Billboard Music Awards,'" a backstage source revealed to Page Six.
However, the "Selsun Blue" rapper proceeded to perform for an hour, playing his hits, including "A Milli," "Rich as F**k," "Go D.J." and "B***hes Love Me," Billboard reported.
Lil Tunechi also showed his appreciation toward the audience by yelling, "I ain't s**t without you!"
The "Grindin'" rapper wrapped up his set, joined by girlfriend Christina Milian. "Where the ladies at? This part of the show is for you," he said before rapping "Lollipop" and "Mrs. Officer."
Meanwhile, Weezy is featured on the latest single off fellow NOLA native August Alsina's sophomore effort "This Thing Called Life," titled "Why I Do It."
The Young Money artist first jumps on the Go Grizzly-produced smooth instrumental, boasting about his two favorite things in the world: mula and ladies.
"Get off my d**k, let me do me / That's a million bucks, every two week," he raps in auto-tune. "I'm f**kin' on an actress, we makin' movies / I'm pullin' out my camera, we shootin' new scenes."
The R&B newcomer then takes over the catchy chorus. "I ain't gotta tell you why I do it / Get cash, get cars, go hard," he sings softly.
