Lamar Odom reportedly believes his recent confrontation with ex-wife Khloé Kardashian was set up to air on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

TMZ reported while Kardashian was heading to her SoulCycle workout class in Los Angeles at 6:45 a.m. on Aug. 12, Odom followed her into the parking lot, subsequently causing a fight.

According to the website, the former NBA player was screaming at the reality star during the alleged ambush, demanding her to talk to him and touching her arm.

Kardashian screamed, "How did you know I was here?" and ran to her car and immediately drove away. When an eyewitness asked her if she wanted someone to call the police, Odom shouted, "You're not going to call the cops on Lamar Odom!"

Following the incident, the athlete apparently thinks the whole altercation was a setup. According to Radar Online, the couple had been talking to each other on the phone.

"Khloé is saying she had to change her phone number because Lamar had been calling her, but that is just wrong," a source revealed. "Lamar absolutely got the new number from Khloé. She has been trying to make him jealous that she is now dating James Harden."

The source then insisted that Kardashian had already told Odom the day before that she would be going to the gym: "He showed up because he wanted to talk to her. Lamar didn't grab Khloé and wasn't stalking her."

With that being said, the basketball player was supposedly "stunned by her reaction at the gym last week" and expects that he is going to be humiliated on television yet again.

"After a picture of the incident was published, Lamar obviously got very upset," the source continued. "He has also learned that this is going to be part of Khloé's drama on the next season of 'KUWTK,' and it makes Lamar sick that she betrayed him."

The source added that Odom would never do anything to hurt Kardashian, saying, "It's absolutely insane that she overreacted. This isn't the Khloé that Lamar was married to."
