The release for "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" was pushed back to next year. CyberGate2 intends to make the final instalment of the series a game to be remembered, just like how the manga by Masashi Shikamoto ended.
Fifteen years have passed since the first Naruto manga was published in Japan. Since then, the franchise has obtained countless followers all over the world. Both the young of age and young at heart know the famous trouble-maker Shinobi who claims that he will become the next Hokage. Due to the popularity of the story, the Naruto franchise has jumped into different media forms.

According to Vine Report, game developers might still add more characters before its release on February next year. Other than the character variants from "Naruto: The Last" and "Boruto" movies, the game will also feature the next generation of shinobi. Characters who died, such as Jiraiya and Neiji Hyuga, will also return along with many prominent characters only seen recently from the "Great Shinobi Wars" featured on the manga and anime.
