Birdman must really want his Cash Money and Young Money family back together again! Over the weekend the founder of Cash Money posted a photo of himself pictured next to the Young Money Cash Money Billionaires vault.
In the photo Birdman leans against a wall near a photo of Lil Wayne. His pose looks quite pensive, maybe even remoresful, over how things have gone down between him and his "son" Lil Wayne? The photo was captioned "4Life LFLS YMCMB."
4Life is a serious caption, by the way!
A few hours prior to that, he posted a photo of what appears to be his legs in black and red YMCMB sweats. The caption reads: #LIfESTYLE in route LA one day one Nite #CASHMONEYRICHGANG #YMCMB
A month prior, however, Birdman posted a photo in the studio wearing YMCMB-like clothing except the YM, "Young Money" letters were replaced with RG. However much Birdman wants Lil Wayne back, there looks to be bad blood brewing between the two.
Birdman and Lil Wayne's relationship has been called into question numerous times over the past few years, initially for how close and intimate a relationship the rapping pair used to have. Nowadays, reports circle over incidents at clubs.
Most recently, Stunna denied reports that he had set-up a drive-by aimed at Lil Tunechi's tour buses. In an interview with Power 105.1's Angie Martinez, Baby denied the claims, calling his involvement ludicrous. "[That's] the craziest s**t I ever heard in my life," he said. "Any n***a gonna bust a gun at Lil Wayne, I got a problem with that... I'd rather a n***a pop at me than pop at my child."
In July, Lil Wayne said Baby had thrown a drink at him. The two were at LIV Nightclub in Miami when the drink went down. The "Lollipop" rapper was onstage near the DJ booth when a drink was hurled at him from the VIP booths above. The booths are not pictured in the video, however TMZ learned from bouncers in the club, it came from Birdman. TMZ also said, their sources said he was performing his Birdman and Cash Money diss track "Coco." Yikes!
Birdman seems like he is making is conflicted but trying to make strides to win back his self-proclaimed son. The rapping duo's relationship began to publically deteriorate when Lil Wayne demanded to be let go of his contract with Birdman's label. Weezy also filed suit against the former for $51 million.
Hopefully these talented emcees can squash the beef and get back to the music.
