As the release date for the highly anticipated sequel to the Star Wars Franchise "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" draws near, more and more photos related to the movie are now beginning to surface.

E Online reports that one of the major villains, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), has been revealed. In an interview by E Online, JJ Abrams stated that Driver will not be the stereotypical mustache twirling villain. The pictures shown by E Online will really cement that statement as well.

Kylo Ren can been seen in his full glory dawning a chainmail type cloak with an all-black robe and metal mask which covers his whole face. The look is similar to that of his predecessor, Darth Vader. Kylo Ren can also been seen wielding a brand new light saber which looks someone like a broad sword than that of the typical hilt-less light saber seen in the original movies. It can be noted that Kylo Ren does not carry the Darth title in his name, so does this mean he is not a Sith Lord?

In addition, Kylo Ren will have an elite guard of Storm Troopers called the First Order. Several pictures of them next to the Dark Jedi have been shown online as well as different armors the troopers will wear during the film.

According to Variety, Anthony Daniels returns to his legendary role as C-3PO. Pictures show the droid sporting a new red arm. C-3PO's faithful friend, R2D2, can also been seen in the picture next to C-3PO sporting the look that the robot has had throughout the series.

The story of the film also began leaking out. While it has been confirmed that Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford will come back as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo, respectively, it hasn't been confirmed what type of role the characters will play in the movie. Screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan stated that these characters have seen the past 30 years after "Return of the Jedi" unfold before them. While these 30 years haven't necessarily brought them wisdom, the period brought them experience. Kasdan goes on to say that conflict is the driving force behind any good story, and that if everything was nothing but roses, there wouldn't be an interesting story.

"Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" opens on Dec. 18.
