Robin Thicke is back together with Nicki Minaj for a hot new collaboration track, titled "Back Together."
"Back Together" is the pair's second duet, following "Shakin It 4 Daddy" off Thicke's 2009 album, "Sex Therapy: The Experience."
The disco-pop track surrounds the idea of a lover, who falls apart from the dynamic love he receives from his girl and is egging her to "put him back together."
The single delights in the R&B crooner's soft voice cooing through the hook, "Now all I want to do is get, get you back (get get) / Cause girl, you're still the best that I've ever had."
"You used your love to tear me apart / Now put me back together," he continues in the chorus. "You put a bullet into my heart / Now put me back together / Come on, let me at it tonight."
Minaj uses the song to display both her singing chops and ability to spit some sick, quick rhymes.
"Yo, ayo, Robin / â¨I get more head than when they noddin' / â¨Kitty on fleek, it's popping, I'm Mary Poppins," she raps in her usual provocative nature. "Just for the record, that hard is what I'm copping / â¨Blasting 2Pac in some fishnet stockings."
The duo's latest project will be featured on the "Blurred Lines" hitmaker's eighth studio album, "Morning Sun" -- the single of the same title was dropped in June.
Thicke took to his Twitter on Thursday to announce the release of the fun, synth-pop track. He also coyly dispelled rumors that he is engaged.
Thicke was rumored to have proposed to his 20-year-old girlfriend, April Love Geary, after dating for less than a year, according to Life & Style. This came after he and his wife of 9 years, Paula Patton, finalized their divorce last Spring.
"Robin recently proposed to April and she said yes," a source told the publication.
The source also revealed that the "Get Her Back" singer is aware of how fast the relationship is moving but does not want to lose Geary, like how he lost his high school sweetheart.
"He doesn't want to risk losing her. Robin's moving really quick with the relationship," the source claimed. "They go almost everywhere together. He's totally obsessed with her."
The publication continued to feed the rumors, divulging marital advice Thicke reportedly received form his parents.
"Both his parents have told him to take some time and not rush into marriage again so soon," the source added.
However Thicke's rep was quick to shut down the rumors, insisting they are "100 percent not true," according to New York Daily News.
