Kendrick Lamar has certainly been hard at work -- just after dropping a music video for "Alright," he has released a fun visual for the "To Pimp a Butterfly" interlude, "For Free?"
The hilarity of the comical interlude is further personified in the video released on Aug. 3.
The visual begins with a woman on the balcony of a two-story mansion, shouting a flurry of insults over the phone, in addition to a list of crazy demands she needs to keep looking fly.
"I need that Brazilian, wavy, twenty-eight inch, you playin'," she shrieks. "I shouldn't be f**kin' with you anyway, I need a baller a**, boss a** n***a."
The woman is clearly unsatisfied with the provisions she has been provided with up to that moment. The video then features the Compton emcee chasing after her, reminding her of what he has already paid for her happiness.
"This d**k ain't free / You lookin' at me like it ain't a receipt / Like I never made end's meet, eatin' your leftovers and raw meat," Lamar spits.
The "King Kunta" rapper pops in and out of corners, surprises the woman in the bathroom and even chases her around a fountain, while a big band plays the track's funky instrumentals in various locations around the house, including the front lawn and outside the kitchen window.
K. Dot is also seen portraying the most known too well bill collector, Uncle Sam, as the visual closes with the final words, "I'mma get my Uncle Sam to f**k you up. You ain't no king."
The interlude is off Lamar's third studio album, "To Pimp A Butterfly," which is looking to be released on vinyl. The record version of the effort is already available for order from Fatbeats.com, however it will not be shipped until Oct. 2 via Top Dawg Entertainment.
The album's 16 tracks will be split between 2 LPs on a double-sided record. At this time, Consequence of Sound reports that there is no word on whether the record will contain any exclusives or bonuses tracks.
